St George: 2/17-2/20/12 President's Day Vacation

Our family loves St. George for a quick get-a-way. I ran a 10 mile race, Dam to Dam, located at Sand Hollow Reservoir. It was serene with the glistening sunny lake and red rock views. 60's and georgous! There is one downer, I had the residuals of the flu. Yes, it was tough! It wasn't my fastest debut but I was able to transfer my thoughts to the beauty of the scenery. My Garmin said I ended with an 8 minute mile. The time was 1:31. Like I said: slow but I finished the Runner's Series and have a spot in the St. George Marathon. My kids are crazy and went swimming in the non-heated pool then back into the hot tub several times. We played games, Uno and a lot of Monopoly. Then there was Easton getting mad at Sophie for calling him her girlfriend. He is yelling from the other room that he is not a girl and he will not be her girlfriend. Then I hear: "Dad will you be my girlfriend?" "Yes, I will". I think Easton's highlight is the waiter at Chili's with the Batman Utility Belt. They discussed Batman paraphernalia the whole time we ate, as he sat there in his capped batman shirt.
